”KANT CEMENT AND SLATE WORKS”

was established in 1964year.

The enterprise is located in Chui Valley, 22 kilometers away from Bishkek, north-east in Kyrgyzstan and is specialized in production portlandcement, large-sized sheets of slate and also asbestos pipes, of 150, 200, 300 and 400 mm diameter.

The production of the Kant Cement Works, due to its high quality and low prices, is highly competitive in the Central Asian inner market as compared to the production of Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, Azerbaijan and Russia

The cement corresponds to the British standards. The plant produces 6 kinds of portlandcement, which meets the international standards.

 This portlandcement is widely used in reinforced and prestressed concrete constructions, and in articles for hydrotechnic constructions, airdrome and motor road cover. They showed their top level characteristic while used in conditions of sulphat aggression, in adversely mineralized waters, and being freezed and melted many times. Surface it to say, that cement of KC & SW was used for construction of the aircosmic complex of Baikonur. Slate and asbestocement pipes (used for high and low pressure) demonstrated also high quality.

The current technical condition of the main equipment of the KC & SW ensures the annual capacity of 750 thousand tons of cement, 600/700 Km.ref.pipes/years of pipes, 60 mln.ref.tiles of slate. The price of the production is the lowest in the region.

The enterprise is interested in widening and establishing new business relations. We are ready to discuss any proposal concerning mutually advantageous contracts.

The enterprise has worked out the Business-Plan, aimed at reduction of the production price, improvement of quality and entering the world market. The enterprise was awarded with the certificate “Torch of Birmingham”.

Taking into consideration the stability of the plant, it’s high competitiveness, and the fact that almost 80% of cement asbestos articles is exported, the investment of foreign capital for modernization of the outdated equipment, will be rather profitable not only for the plant itself but for the investor as well.

Traditionally the KS & SW delivers its production to Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, Tajikistan, Caucasus, Russia China and Afghanistan.

 

In spite of economic crisis, the plant has no arrears of wages and no social program has been curtailed.

We managed to preserve highly skilled staff and the industrial potential, which ensures further production of ordinary and special kinds of portlandcement, pipes and slate of the guarantied quality and sufficient reliability. This fact attracts consumers both in the republic and abroad.
